Record stop strips are a must in nearly all cases as it saves a lot of time and hassle manually facing up your collection. This a fixed strip of wood that we position towards the back of the cabinet. Simply slide your records in and these will stop to leave a 2cm space in front of your records.

The review pictures helped so I'm adding some of my own in case it helps others. I think it's important to add some details about the photos so you can have context in terms of size etc. I think my wall is about 4m wide. The TV above is a 55" so about 1.2m wide and the unit I went for is 1.3m wide.
Because my Marantz 6007 integrated amp stated it needed 15cm clearance above for ventilation I built this into my spec when ordering. In total the amp shelf is 25cm high, 10 for the amp, 15 for the ventilation as per the manufacturers recommendations. Personally I think they look better with a smaller amp shelf but I didn't want to risk anything and I guess it future proofs me for different systems.
After size, I guess colour is the most important thing to understand. This colour is 'Dark Oak' according to Lagom Studio. From memory the wood is Scandinavian redwood but I could be wrong. I liked the black legs so went for the steel box legs.
Delivery was in the allocated time as when I ordered at Christmas, 7 weeks. But do yourself a favour and don't bother checking the status, it will be ready when it's ready. Order it and forget about it otherwise you just prolong the anticipation of its arrival. It arrived well packaged and with enough information I could make sure I was in for the delivery. No issues (UK Mainland delivery)
