Lägom Studio, founded by Harry and Chris in 2019, is a unique furniture design company specializing in high-quality vinyl record and Hi-Fi storage solutions. However, the roots of our passion for woodwork and minimalist design go back much further, shaping the foundation of who we are today.

Our story began in the small town of Storfors, Sweden, where we spent many holidays at our Uncle’s house immersed in the breathtaking Redwood forests and tranquil lakes. It was there that our uncle introduced us to the beauty of woodwork, from harvesting carefully selected trees to milling and crafting them into functional, beautiful furniture—all from a tiny workshop by the lake. These early experiences inspired a deep love for craftsmanship and creativity, setting us on a path that would later lead to the creation of Lägom Studio.

While our individual journeys initially took different creative routes—Chris pursuing graphic design and mid-century furniture sales, and Harry working as a clothing designer and photographer—our shared passion for furniture design never faded. Every weekend and free moment was spent back in the workshop, perfecting our craft. That is how Lägom Studio was born, and today, we are proud to say we’ve turned our dream into a reality, earning a living doing what we truly love.

Inspired by the Scandinavian design ethos and the concept of “lägom”—which means “not too much, not too little, just right”—our creations embody a perfect balance of form and function.
