FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does your business promote sustainability and environmentally-friendly practices?

Yes, we are committed to using sustainably-sourced wood materials in all of our furniture products. We work closely with our wood suppliers, who are PEFC certified, to ensure that our materials come from responsibly managed forests. This is important to us as it allows us to not only create high-quality furniture but also to contribute to the preservation of our natural resources and the reduction of our environmental impact. Sustainability is one of our core values, and we believe that by using sustainable materials, we can create beautiful furniture that is not only functional but also environmentally responsible.

What materials are used to build your cabinets?

We primarily use Scandinavian redwood. This is a popular choice due to its affordability and range of colour finishes. However, we also offer a premium range of common and exotic hardwoods such as American White Oak, American Black Walnut, American Cherry, American White Ash, American Maple, African Sapele, and West African Iroko.

Our furniture is made entirely of solid wood, and we do not incorporate any forms of veneer.

Do you offer samples?

If you are undecided on a colour finish for your cabinet, or if you are interested in one of our premium hardwoods, then please email us at lagomstudiouk@gmail.com and we will be happy to post you samples out.

How long does it take for my products to be made and delivered?

We typically commence builds after approximately five to six weeks. An estimated delivery date can be found highlighted in red when ordering your cabinet, on the checkout page and on your order email. This can extend to around the seven week mark during busy periods.

During summer months where things are quieter here, we can usually have your cabinet built and delivered in as little as 3 weeks. You can keep an eye on your order tracker link to see how quickly you are moving down the queue to get an idea of when your item may be shipped.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free of charge to Mainland UK (England, Scotland & Wales)

If you are in The Isle Of Wight, Ireland / NI or any other location that is overseas then there will be an extra delivery charge. Please contact us first about this.

We frequently receive orders from the Isle of Wight, and many of our customers choose to have their cabinets shipped to a mainland forwarder who then arranges delivery to the island. A popular choice among our customers is a company called Acclaim, which regularly handles these shipments.

Will the courier carry the cabinet into my home?

Yes, our couriers are always a two man team and will carry your item and place it where it needs to go inside your home. There is no need for you to lift or help at your end.

Are there extra charges if I live on a higher floor?

Our couriers charge £10 per floor (unless you have a lift) The first floor is included within the delivery price. Please do let us know which floor you are on and if you require our courier to deliver to this floor.

How will I know how my order is progressing?

After placing your order, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link within a few days. This will allow you to monitor your current position in the production queue. As your cabinet progresses through the build stages, you’ll see status updates such as “Cut,” “Assembled,” and “Finished.” Once we reach the final stages, we’ll contact you to coordinate delivery—an exciting milestone in the process.

Can I request custom dimensions of my product?

Absolutely! At our company, customisation and bespoke items are central to our business, and we take pride in crafting furniture pieces that are tailored to suit our customers’ unique needs. We understand that every customer has different requirements, and we always strive to meet those needs wherever possible.

If you have an idea in mind or want to discuss custom measurements for your piece of furniture, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us either by calling or emailing us. Most customers prefer to send us a basic sketch, which we can use to create a 3D drawing and send it back to you. This way, you’ll have a clear idea of how your furniture piece will look before we start building it.

Is there any assembly required?

Nearly all of our vinyl cabinet range requires no assembly whatsoever. Just remove the packaging and enjoy your new piece of furniture. For larger builds, we may need to separate sections if access is an issue or we may fit on site.
